Hi! I'm Amy. I have big awkward hands. I never know what to do with them in photos. I wave my hands wildly when I talk. I (more than) sometimes knock into a glass I'm HOLDING IN MY RIGHT HAND with my left hand. My hands are like big unwieldy starfishes attached to the ends of my arms. My hand eye coordination is not the best. Despite this, it gives me great joy to make things with my hands.

Crafts help me slow my hands down and practise precision for purposeful creation. It feels great to make things with these weird starfishes that I'm still learning to control. 

My goal with all my work is to conjure a moment of delight, however fleeting.
